A dynamic Electrical, Control and Mechanical Engineering Contracting Company, requires the full-time services of a Senior Instrumentation Engineer in Fire and Gas System design, to join their team of experts at the Offices in Cape Town ASAP. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties and Responsibilities
- As a C&I engineer you will be required to work in project teams and take responsibility for development of technical deliverables on Greenfields and Brownfields projects.
- Generating technical control and instrumentation specifications and designs to client standards. Perform MFD (P&ID) review, SIL review, HAZOP study, Control/design philosophy review meetings internally and with clients
Qualifications and experience:
Minimum B Eng / BSc Engineering (Electronic/Electrical/Chemical)
Registration with ECSA will be advantageous
Minimum five years experience in Industrial control
Experience in one or more of the following fields highly recommended -
- DCS & ESD system design & Software configuration
- Experience with industrial networks
- Analyzer system design
- Functional safety (CFSP or CFSE)
- Experience with Fire and Gas System Design
