JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements

Matric, Insurance Qualification, Financial Degree / Diploma
Regulatory Exam (RE 5) qualification ESSENTIAL
Fit & Proper Representative Commercial & Personal Lines (must comply with all FSCA requirements)
Minimum 5 years COMMERCIAL Brokering experience
Self-starter with ability to cold call and network efficiently to gain a profitable client base
Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets
Access to an unencumbered client base or ownership of your own client base / practice advantageous
Own vehicle, with a valid, unendorsed drivers’ licence
Located in the Western Cape and being able to work remotely and work from office when needed in Century City
Proven fast learner with ability to change sales tactics according to sales audience

Duties

Extensive client liaison and calling on prospective clients
Ensuring the best customer experience offered to all clients
Sourcing New Business from your database or network
Manage your own cold calling and proactive canvassing marketing activities
Following up on incoming leads provided by the Company
Identifying and pursuing prospective clients
Qualifying leads
Conduct Risk Analysis ensuring the right insurance solution is found to suit the prospective clients needs
Manage sales pipeline continually planning to reach monthly goals
Obtaining and presenting Quotations
Compiling Winning Presentations to be presented to prospective Clients
Policy Maintenance
Managing Renewals
Retain and grow existing clients, by developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Policy Issuing
Provide ongoing support and retaining existing clients including renewals etc.
Exceed monthly sales targets
