JOB SUMMARY:
A Financial Institute in the Centre of Pretoria has a contract position for 12 months for a Senior Integration Specialist. Please note this is a very specialised position and the candidate must adhere to all the requirements.

The Snr Integration Specialist to perform integration design, analysis, re-engineering, development, and documentation work in the Enterprise Integration Centre of Excellence (EICoE) solutions initiatives at the Company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION. ONLY CANDIDATE WHO QUALIFY TO APPLY, THIS IS A VERY SPECIALISED POSITION

A minimum of five years’ experience in Integration development and/or administration of integration technologies such as ACE, MQ, Datapower, API Connect, Aspera and IBM Transformation Extender
Extensive experience with implementation and optimization of ACE, MQ, Datapower, API Connect, Aspera and IBM Transformation Extender
Extensive Experience in technical architecture, design, analysis, re-engineering, and development of integration flows (including error and audit) between variety of applications
Proficiency in Red hat Linux and Unix AIX 7.2
Must be proficient in SOAPUI, Postman
Proficient in following runtime tools: Atlassian Bitbucket, Atlassian Bamboo, Jira and Confluence
Skills in Integration Protocol such as RESTful API, Webservice, MQ and File (MQMFT, FTPS, SFTP)
Proficient in Data Types: Transformation (JSON/SWAGGER, XML/XSD/WSDL/XSLT, CSV/Excel, Fixed Length, Binary) and No Transformation (Binary)
Dimensional data modelling experience
Project development exposure (waterfall and/or agile methodologies)
Professional Certification
Proficient in at least one other Integration toolset (ACE, API Connect, MQ, Data Power)

Experience on working in an agile development environment. Disciplined Agile Development (DAD) experience

The EICoE team requires the services of a Snr integration Specialist to assist with design, analysis, re-engineering, and development work required in EICoE for Reference Rate Reform (RRR) Programme classified as Tier 1 project, within the Business and Systems Technology Department.

Snr Integration Specialist

To define own work plan and deliverables with guidance from the Lead Enterprise Integration Specialist, manage and prioritise delivery of own outputs against the work plan.
To design integration interfaces including 3rd party and perimeter/boundary integration in support of the enterprise integration environment;
To develop, configure and implement integration interfaces including 3rd party and perimeter/boundary integration in support of the enterprise integration environment while adhering to integration processes;
To analyse and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications;
To provide regular status reports on demands and incidents management;
To ensure accuracy and integrity of integration systems, message flows and integration patterns through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation and problem resolution;
To interact with applications owners and vendors on the implementation, configuration and maintenance of integration related platforms (including hardware and software components);
To comply with policies and procedures and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives to ensure effective availability, protection and integrity of data assets.
To engage with internal and external stakeholders and thus maintain employee, vendor and client relationships by providing timely and accurate information to keep them updated.
To comply with expected standards and procedures for the completion of processes and tasks in Integration and to contribute to the overall strategy of Integration
