Senior Internal Auditor: IT

SUMMARY:
Calling all Senior Internal Auditors: IT for this exciting new position.

POSITION INFO:

A multinational company that is one of the largest retail store chains in South Africa is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor: IT.  The core purpose of the role is to enhance and protect the company’s value by providing risk-based, objective assurance, advice, and insight to support management’s achievement of effective governance, risk and control processes to achieve the company’s objectives.

Education and Experience:

• BCom or B.Sc. Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems BCom Degree. / Internal Audit/Informatics or Equivalent
• CISA/CISM/CRISC
• Cyber Security Certification (Preferable)
• Minimum of +5 years’ experience within an IT Audit environment
• FMCG (Preferable)
• Experience performing IT Governance and Project Assurance related Engagements

Responsibilities

• Excellent Working Knowledge of IIA Standard and Leading Audit Methodologies
• Understanding of Governance Requirements, Principles, Practices, Applicable Laws and Regulations, and Leading Governance Frameworks
• Knowledge of CAATS and Data Analytics
• Ability to Evaluate and Implement IT General, Cyber Security and Application Environment Controls
• Perform internal audits specifically including the IIA Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
• Perform IT audit assignments over IT Governance, IT infrastructure, IT processes, General Computer controls, cyber-security, and application controls
• Provide sound, practical, and strategic advice on IT governance, projects, and control matters
