Senior Java Developer

SUMMARY:
Our client, one of South Africa’s Largest Bank’s is looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join their fast growing team.

POSITION INFO:
Purpose
To design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software systems and applications based on specifications, while adhering to established standards. The candidate will translate requirements from the business or technical analyst and actively participate with the delivery team in design and problem-solving.

• Relevant qualification OR Certification in IT or software Development

• 6+ years’ proven experience in back-end software development, project delivery and implementation
• Programming / coding skills on Java
• Database systems and query optimization (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
