Senior Lab Technician

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Laboratory Technician to support their operations. The role focuses on culture analysis, quality control, and laboratory equipment calibration to maintain top production standards.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• BSc Hons or MSc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Three to five years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with microscopy, analytical chemistry, and lab equipment calibration.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a dynamic environment.

• Perform daily culture analysis and microscopic examinations to ensure optimal algae growth and quality.
• Calibrate and maintain online monitoring systems, including nutrients, pH, temperature, and conductivity.
• Prepare samples for off-site quality testing and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality control procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues related to cultures, equipment, and processes.
