Senior Laboratory Technician

SUMMARY:
Our client in the FMCG industry has an opportunity available for a Senior Laboratory Technician in the Roodepoort area of Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Microbiology
• 3 years'' relevant experience preferable in food and beverage
• Computer literacy (Advanced)
• Code 08 Driver''s license
• Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) experience

KPAs:

• Analyse samples and maintain the quality system ISO 
• Conduct good laboratory practices audits 
• Acquire and apply specialist knowledge of equipment and techniques         
• Take part in PT schemes and internal lab verification schemes 
• Assist to maintain SANAS system and lead SANAS audits
