POSITION INFO:

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking 2 Senior/ Lead Analyst to join their team in Cape town on a 12 month contract. They offer stability, competitive rates, growth and an excellent working environment.

As a Senior Analyst, you''ll have the opportunity to lead projects and provide strategic direction for other analysts. You will be responsible for all aspects of MIS management including staff recruitment, training, and development as well as leading day-to-day systems operations. You should have experience with Oracle applications such as Business Intelligence (BI), Supply Chain Management (SCM), or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This could include working on Oracle EBS reports or building financial reports using BI tools like Cognos or Crystal Reports.

Requirements

• Meeting with decision-makers, system owners, and end-users to define
• business, financial, and operations requirements and system goals and identifying and resolving systems issues;
• Leading design sessions in prototyping new systems:
• Reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and developing strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems; Identifying and establishing scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions:
• Collaborating in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications:
• Conducting research  n software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts:
• Preparing and delivering reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization:
• Creating system design proposals;
• Performing cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions:
• Ensuring compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems;
• Creating systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers;
• Coordinating and performing in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems and other post-implementation support; Providing orientation and training to end-users for all modified and new systems; and
• Providing guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members.

Qualifications

• One or more tertiary qualification(s) issued by a registered tertiary institution that is/are relevant to the role of the Senior / Lead Analyst OR
• One or more industry accredited course credential(s) that is/are relevant to the role of the Senior / Lead Analyst (including, for example, industry accredited course credentials in programming); AND
• A minimum of 5 (five) years experience at a senior level in a Senior/ Lead Analyst or equivalent role.
