The University of Fort Hare seeks to appoint suitable qualified and experienced candidates for vacant post in Business Management Department-Faculty of Management and Commerce:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

An appropriate doctoral qualification in Business Management or related fields
At least five (5) years’ experience in a higher education environment or a minimum of three (3) years in the higher education environment plus relevant industry experience
Proven experience in teaching either financial or operations management
A proven research record supported by publications in DHET accredited Journals
Evidence of a strong postgraduate supervision record at masters and doctoral level

Responsibilities Include:

Teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students
Participate in curriculum design and implementation of newly accredited programmes
Assist with preparation of new programmes for approval and accreditation by relevant bodies in the country within a problem and case based teaching environment
Attract funding and conduct research in business management or related fields
Supervise postgraduate research in business management or related fields
Participate in public engagement activities within the University
Academic administration and citizenship
