JOB SUMMARY:
The University of Fort Hare is seeking applications from appropriately qualified and experienced candidates for the post of a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Doctoral qualification in Law.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in teaching at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in research and innovation.
  • Demonstrable understanding of national and international research and innovation
  • Demonstrable supervision of post-graduate students and meaningful tract record of research publications in accredited or high- impact journals.

KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
  • Understanding of and familiarity with the higher education teaching, learning, research and innovation domain.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strict observance to ethical principles and academic integrity.
  • Suitable ability to mentor junior staff or colleagues.
