• Possess sound knowledge of the theory and application of Information Security and Cybersecurity.
• Ability to facilitate learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Information Security and Cybersecurity.
• Knowledge in the fields of IT Management and Governance, IT Risk Management and IT Service Management would be advantageous.
• Ability to actively engage in and supervise postgraduate research.
• Ability to synthesize information to design learning experiences.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences through various media.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

REQUIREMENTS

Senior Lecturer

A Doctoral degree in Information Technology (or related discipline), with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

Evidence of a research track record, in line with the level of the post, must include articles published in accredited journals and subject-specific accredited conference proceedings.

A track record of successful postgraduate student supervision.

Substantial relevant experience in which competency has been gained in line with the relevant post.

Lecturer

A Master’s degree in Information Technology (or related discipline) with at least 2 years of relevant and/ or related working experience.

Evidence of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Evidence of involvement in research and/or engagement Industry experience would be advantageous.
