SENIOR LECTURER: GRADE 7: Social Work: East London Campus: Ref No. 455

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:
.Possession of a doctoral degree in Social Work
. Registration with the South African Council for Social Service     Professions (SACSSP)
· 5 years teaching experience in an academic environment
· Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research  projects
. A proven record of research and peer reviewed publications

 Responsibilities Include:
. Teach Social Work courses
. Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects
. Produce academic publications in accredited journals and publishers
. Participate in collaborative research projects undertaken locally and internationally
· Refine curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate level
· Participate in community engagement initiatives embarked on by the University
· Mentor and coach junior members of staff and post-graduate students
. Participation and contribution to departmental, faculty and university administrative responsibilities
