JOB SUMMARY:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the above-mentioned permanent post in the Faculty of Education.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

PhD in Education/DEd
Must have Inclusive Education at MEd level
A professional teaching qualification
A minimum of three years teaching at Higher Education Institution
Research and publication record in Inclusive/ Special Education
Evidence of postgraduate supervision experience
Evidence of the ability to provide academic leadership

DUTIES:

To teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in the area of Inclusive Education, and any Education Studies Modules
Supervise postgraduate students
Carry out research for publication
To engage in community outreach and collaborative activities.
To build capacity by mentoring student teachers and in-service teachers
To participate in training and assessing student teachers for and during school-based work integrated learning
