SUMMARY:
The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities seeks an accomplished academic to join the Anthropology Department. The appointment will be made at the level of Senior Lecturer or Lecturer depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
The successful candidate will take primary responsibility as a Module Leader in the teaching of Psychology and bring expertise in at least one area of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Beyond the classroom, the successful candidate will contribute actively to the strategic plan of the Faculty and the University, playing a key role in driving innovation in teaching, curriculum development, research, internationalization and community engagement.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- A relevant Doctoral Degree.
- At least 3 years’ experience in higher education.
- Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research experience in the area of Anthropology.
- A record of accredited research publications commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer.
- Postgraduate supervision experience including successful Masters/Doctoral supervision commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer.

- Undergraduate teaching experience in the area of Anthropology.
- Research publications or successful supervision or successful research grant funding.
