Our client in the Telecommunications industry is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Legal Manager to join their team.

This exciting self managing role requires an ideal candidate that will be responsible for providing expert legal advice to support internal and external stakeholders,ensuring legal compliance in respect of business decisions, processes, and documentation including the balance of key commercial and business initiatives in fulfilment of the company strategy.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities (Includes but Is Not Limited to)

Effective self-leadership as an individual contributor in a high-performance environment.
Provision of expert Legal advice to support business stakeholders and ensure Legal compliance of businessdecisions, processes and documentation.
Coaching, training and change communication to client’s staff on any legal developments impacting the business.
Management of Legal and Regulatory outsourced partners.

Education Requirements

Grade 12
Bachelors and LLB Degree or equivalent foreign qualification.
Admission as an attorney in the High Court.

Related Work Experience

5-7+ years Legal Experience
5-7+ years relevant experience in applying general commercial and corporate law.
5+ years of property law and/or telecommunications law experience advantageous.
Experience working in a medium to large law firm.
Exceptional Researching, Technical and drafting experience
