SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established player in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a reliable and technically strong MIS Administrator / Technician to support and maintain their IT and operational technology (OT) environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, systems-driven environment and has a solid mix of infrastructure, database, and scripting experience.
POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT and OT systems across the business
- Administer and support databases, networks (LAN/WAN), and cloud-based platforms
- Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and patch management
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate processes and improve system efficiency
- Generate and manage reports using SQL and reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards
- Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business systems and production environments
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Degree
- Proven working experience as an IT/OT Administrator, System Administrator, or in a similar role
- Strong experience with:
- Databases (especially Microsoft SQL Server)
- Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
- Ability to create scripts and work with:
- VB.NET
- HTML
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- A+ or other relevant technologies/languages
- Solid understanding of internet security and data privacy principles
