Senior Magic Programmer

SUMMARY:
This is a 6 months contract

POSITION INFO:

• Applies system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems. Configures, analyses, designs, develops, and maintains in-house developed applications to support business processes and functions. Works on elements of large, complex installations. Performs all aspects of programming assignments and assists with systems design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• At least 7 years’ development experience using the Magic development platform; namely Desktop applications, Web applications (HTML Merge) and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL) – advantages
• Must be able to translate business specifications into a technical solution.
• Ability to work in a team, but also independently.
• Strong database skills including writing complex queries, stored procedures and views.
• Good understanding of ITIL framework – advantages.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in drafting technical documentations
