Senior Maintenance Planner

My client seeks an individual with a strong personal presence who influences others on the factory floor and has advanced experience working with Maintenance Management systems.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description The Vinedresser knows when is the correct season to prune the vines and how much to prune to get the best yields of grapes each harvest season. The vinedresser also knows when is the right time to graft new stock to improve the yields. The vinedresser makes sure that he has the stock and tools ready so that when the conditions are right the grafting or pruning happens. Link - In the same manner the maintenance planner uses his tools and skills to ensure that maintenance in the factory happens at the right time and under the right conditions so that operational efficiencies and relevance are not compromised. The maintenance planner will have the correct tools and spare parts in stock for the artisans to perform their tasks. Foundational concepts: A person to help administer the day-to-day activities on Pragma. They will assist with App issues, creating and allocating Jobcards. Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting. Transactions - Creating, Editing, Closing a Job Card. Using Pragma as a Planning Tool - Allocations, Scheduling. Pragma Application - common errors, logging in and out, creating Jobcards. Job Audits - Maintenance Foreman. Pragma Controls - Change Request Form. Order Spares. Plan and Schedule work. Inspect work done. Stock control. Tool control. Meet with Management and Production staff to discuss maintenance\/engineering specifications and procedures. Skill and Experience: A Trade-tested Fitter or Electrician, A B Tech or N Dip Mechanical or Electrical Engineer. High level Computer literacy competency. Pragma experience will be an advantage.
