POSITION INFO:
Purpose
To ensure effective execution of asset management and maintenance systems
Minimum Qualifications
Entrance Certificate: Grade 12 (Essential)
N3/4 Engineering Studies + Trade Certificate (Essential)
Certificate in Maintenance Planning
Certificate in Project Management
Minimum Experience
Mining equipment or mining industry: 3 years

Roles and Responsibilities include inter alia:
Willingness and ability to travel to MARC sites including remote site
Oversee maintenance and repairs processes on multiple MARC operations
Responsible for maintenance and system configuration
Manage work planning and control processes
Perform reliability (MTBF), availability and maintainability (MTTR) analysis
Apply RCM methodology to improve the maintenance tactics
Facilitate the RCA/RCFA processes for all chronic failures
Apply corrective action and preventive action methodology where necessary
Effectively support all engineering maintenance project
Manage the backlog management process
Manage the life cycle costing process (LCC) / component life management
Identify premature failures (Component performance)
Carry-out business and maintenance data analysis
Carry-out analysis of component repair history / component tracking
Co-ordinate the condition monitoring processes (Wearcheck)
Co-ordinate the product improvement processes (Service bulletins)
Prepares comprehensive maintenance management reports Support the SPE/MOP Program
