Senior Manager: Corporate Communication

About the role:

Company has a key opportunity for a Senior Manager Corporate Communication, reporting to the Head Marketing, to develop and implement communication strategies targeting the Scheme’s various stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience:

A National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or Journalism or equivalent is a minimum requirement. At least 8 years’ relevant experience in the medical schemes and/or insurance environment of which 4 years must be on management level.

Skills and Knowledge:

• The theory, practice, techniques, philosophy, and implementation of communication and PR strategies.
• Familiar with reprographics and printing processes.
• The Medical Schemes Act and related relevant legislation, such as the POPI Act.
• In-depth knowledge of communication trends and the effective use of multiple channels to ensure the delivery of communication messages; and
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate in MS Office
• Valid K53 driving license.
