POSITION INFO:
Work with a leading advisory team delivering innovative credit risk, financial modelling, and regulatory solutions across Africa. Engage in high-impact projects for clients in financial services, telecoms, retail, and healthcare, both locally and internationally.

Responsibilities:

Build and calibrate credit risk models
Validate, test, and monitor model performance
Benchmark credit metrics against market peers
Analyse credit portfolios for key insights
Review deliverables for quality and accuracy
Communicate findings and challenges with stakeholders
Draft project reports

Requirements:

Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Quantitative, or similar
5-8 years’ experience in credit risk - banking, consulting, or related fields
Solid credit risk modelling and predictive analytics skills
Understanding of credit lifecycle, Basel, model risk, and IFRS 9
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Coding in SAS, VBA, Matlab, R, and Python (including Enterprise Guide)
