Senior Manager: Export Sales

Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager in Export Sales based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Commercial, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 10 to 15 years’ experience in manufacturing and commercial sales processes and people management.
• Experience at Senior Management level would be advantageous.
• Have an outgoing personality with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Must possess advanced computer literacy.
• Must be fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities:

• Generate sales of products and increase profitability by broadening the company’s horizons. This may include travelling to other countries.
• Ensure that products are made available in the international markets by analyzing the trends of customers and developing sales plans.
• Manage the export sales department including the commercial processes and administrative staff.
• Achieve shipping, invoicing and revenue targets.
• Review customer performance, attending meetings and business discussions to facilitate overall growth and development of the business organization.
