Our client is a large successful organisation with its Head Office in Johannesburg and operations throughout southern and central Africa

Remuneration:

Total Cost to Company – R 1m to R1.5m per annum, depending on overall work experience and experience in managing a medium to large finance structure

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Finance Executive, the successful candidate will be required to provide accurate and timely financial information, support, and advice to a diverse range of company executives. This will be achieved through the effective management and coordination of a group of Financial Mangers and their support staff.

Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes Required:

• Minimum qualification – Chartered Accountant CA (SA) (or equivalent NQF level 8)
• Minimum of 12 to 15 years’ total work experience
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years’ financial management experience
• A proven track record of managing a large financial department of at least 25 personnel
• Ability to manage and implement financial processes, structures, and disciplines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
• Excellent problem solving, decision making and planning skills
• Quality and performance driven
• Ability to work under pressure and go the extra mile
