Senior Manager, Finance Support

SUMMARY:
A Senior Manager vacancy exists in Finance Department , based in Sandton. This position reports to General Manager: Finance within this Global organisation in the Automotive sector

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Supervision and management checks /control delegated by General Manager Finance: Sales & Marketing for activities of:

• Manager: Finance Support (General Accounts + Creditors department)
• Manager: Warranty & Service Plan
• Manager Finance Credit Control
• Ad-hoc Projects delegated by GM Finance: Sales & Marketing
• Departmental Budgeting (cost saving)
• SAP administration, change management & testing in QA, implementation of changes & FI authorisation controls;
• CATS administration for S&M finance managers;
• Liaison with Group Tax Department;
• Systems maintenance & retention of records;

• Sales & Marketing "Specialist " in:
• IFRS plus Group & Accounting policies
• Income tax act and Vat act
• Assessment, development and implementation of suitable internal controls
• Ensure proper accounting records being kept and timeously reported;
• Liaison with other S&M Finance Managers'' requests for financial support and Planning activities;

• Assist Group function with:
• Weekly/Monthly Cash Flow results and budgets
• Warranty, Service & Maintenance Plan budgets 
• Authorised signatory.
• Training and development of staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

NQF Level 7 (480 credits - level 8 framework)

• CA (SA) with completed articles
• 8 – 10 years working experience post articles in management
• Or 4-5 years working experience in a Senior Financial accounting position
• SAP experience is preferable
