JOB SUMMARY:
A global company is actively looking for a Senior Manager HR Centre of Excellence to ensure alignment between the business operations and the HR practices and objectives, with a keen understanding of the business’s strategy, providing dynamic solutions using experience, data analyses, and organizational agility to guide decision making.
This role is to ensure that all HR related activities are undertaken in accordance with employment law, policies and procedures and ensuring that any risk to the business is minimized.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Focus Area:
Translate Human Resources strategy into country specific goals.
Manage and co-design the 5-year strategic workforce plan in alignment to financial models.
Actively consults with the business’s leadership and management in order to foster and promote the engagement of the business’s core values at all levels.
Facilitates effective implementation of a remuneration and reward strategy for all Management across the Organisation.
Accountable for the alignment between people management strategies and the existing business’s policies and procedures, updating each as required.
Lead and manage all ad-hoc HR projects from time to time.
Provides support to Country Directors in ensuring that the best practices are being adopted, ensuring the delivery of projects as required as well as ensuring that key deliverables are met within the specified timelines.
Pro-actively analyse and conducts research, and consistently develops and enforces HR procedures and policies, also analyzes and reports on KPIs and trends related to human capital in the business and uses these findings to develop strategies and solutions to issues that affect the business’s employee relations.
Responsible to report on all people metrics as necessary to the Executive and ensures budgetary compliance and makes recommendations in enhancing departmental performance.
Analyze human resources program activity, conduct performance analyses of the programs, prepare reports and proposals from findings, and present them to senior management for consideration.
Pro-actively identify, communicate and address opportunities, as well as significant Human Resources risks, (macro and micro environment)
Create the HR Policies in alignment to Group policies for execution of country specific operations, ensuring sustainable value creation and business growth

Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor in Human Resources, Psychology or Business
A strategic leadership course can be advantageous
At least 5 years’ relevant experience in a Generalist Senior Management level
Experience in a Fertilizer or seasonal commodities environment will be preferred
People management experience, with experience in managing support functions across several business units preferred
