Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Direction & Alignment

• Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with the company’s corporate objectives.
• Translate strategic goals into operational plans and KPIs.
• Stay abreast of global ICT trends and innovations.

2. Budgeting & Financial Management

• Prepare and manage the IT department’s budget.
• Monitor expenditure and report on variances.
• Ensure cost-effective operations and resource allocation.

3. IT Service Delivery

• Oversee infrastructure, operations, applications, and service delivery.
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of IT systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in service quality and user experience.

4. Governance & Compliance

• Monitor compliance with legislation and statutory requirements.
• Promote sound governance, risk management, and institutional integrity.
• Represent IT in internal and external stakeholder engagements.

5. People Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and empower IT teams to achieve high performance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
• Drive strategic change and embed the company’s values and culture.

6. Organizational Participation

• Actively contribute to committees and cross-functional initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across departments and with external partners.

Minimum Requirements

• Honors Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in ICT, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven track record in strategic IT leadership, governance, and service delivery.
