Key Responsibilities

Strategic Direction & Alignment

Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with the company’s corporate objectives.
Translate strategic goals into operational plans and KPIs.
Stay abreast of global ICT trends and innovations.

Budgeting & Financial Management

Prepare and manage the IT department’s budget.
Monitor expenditure and report on variances.
Ensure cost-effective operations and resource allocation.

IT Service Delivery

Oversee infrastructure, operations, applications, and service delivery.
Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of IT systems.
Drive continuous improvement in service quality and user experience.

Governance & Compliance

Monitor compliance with legislation and statutory requirements.
Promote sound governance, risk management, and institutional integrity.
Represent IT in internal and external stakeholder engagements.

People Leadership

Lead, mentor, and empower IT teams to achieve high performance.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
Drive strategic change and embed the company’s values and culture.

Organizational Participation

Actively contribute to committees and cross-functional initiatives.
Build strong relationships across departments and with external partners.

Minimum Requirements

Honors Degree in Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in ICT, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Proven track record in strategic IT leadership, governance, and service delivery.
