DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investment Strategy and Process:

• Develop and implement private market investment strategies, policies and processes aligned with RMA’s overall investment objectives.
• Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities in private equity, venture capital, and other alternative asset classes.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform investment decisions.

• Monitor and manage existing private market investments.
• Perform regular portfolio reviews and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement exit strategies for investments when appropriate.

• Lead comprehensive due diligence processes for potential investments.
• Analyze financial statements, business models, and market conditions.
• Assess potential risks and returns associated with investment opportunities.

• Build and maintain relationships with general partners, fund managers, and other key players in the private market’s ecosystem.
• Represent RMA at industry events and conferences.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management.
• Manage relationship with external service providers.

• Prepare detailed investment reports and recommendations for senior management and investment committees.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and benchmarks for private market investments.
• Contribute to the overall asset allocation and portfolio construction process.

• Manage and mentor a team of investment professionals.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with RMA’s overall objectives.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage investment teams.
• Corporate finance experience would be an advantage.

• Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, applicable experience, and previous earnings.
