SUMMARY:
One of our clients, a leader in the power generation industry, is looking for a dynamic individual to take up the role of Senior Manager: Project Development and become a part of their team!

POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Areas:

· Lead Project Development for the client in Sub-Saharan Africa

· Develop sales strategy, budgets and targets

· Identify project opportunities, develop networks and collect crucial market information

· Meet defined objectives, including sales targets (value & volume), market penetration, price realisation, market share and new applications

· Analyse market information including customer data, upcoming projects, competitors, political, economical & social trends

· Analyse technical requirements of customer needs and develop techno-commercial proposals

· Lead techno-commercial discussions involving project development, bid clarifications, positioning of product features, contract / legal clauses, price negotiations and other direct sales activities

· Liaise within the group including Japan, Germany & UK

· Compile monthly reports, visit reports and maintenance of sales database

Minimum Requirements or other Relevant Qualifications/Experience:

· Bachelor''s degree in Engineering, Construction, or similar

· More than 15 years’ experience in a similar role

· Deep knowledge of power plants especially GTCC/GT

· Knowledge of the company''s products is a prerequisite

· Deep market knowledge and relevant extensive networks within the Sub-Saharan market

· Excellent analytical skills, ability to understand different development situations
