Senior Mechanical Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Senior Mechanical Engineer position available. Middelburg, Mpumalanga.

Qualifications and Experience:

• B Eng. / BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Post graduate qualification will be an advantage.
• Professional registration with ECSA.
• More than 8 years working experience.
• Working knowledge of design packages.

Knowledge and experience of the following:

• Project Engineering and management
• Pipe work, pumping system design
• Freed System Design
• Structural Design
• Understanding the formulating P&ID and MFD’s
• Background in FEA and/or CFD Software an advantage
• Experience in the Mining and/or Metals Industry an advantage

 

Responsibilities:

• Projects Management.
• Client Liaisons.
• Mechanical Designs.
• Supervision of Mechanical Engineering teams.
• Project scoping and scope monitoring.
• Technical evaluation of tenders received.
• Quality and cost control.
• Contractor and contract management.

Permanent Position.
