POSITION INFO:
A specialist engineering firm in Randburg is seeking a skilled Senior Engineer with strong materials handling design experience. This is a permanent role where you'll work on cutting-edge mobile, fixed, and modular plant systems. You must bring relevant industry experience — there’s no room for learners here!

As the Senior Engineer, you’ll manage complex mechanical projects, lead design development, supervise engineering teams, and sign off on CAD models and structural simulations. Expect to spend time on client sites, lead commissioning, and ensure delivery on spec, on time, and on budget

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical design within bulk materials handling
Minimum 2 years as a Lead or Senior Engineer
Advanced SolidWorks proficiency (non-negotiable)
Project management and structural analysis (including FEA) experience
