JOB SUMMARY:
We are urgently recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer (PrEng) to direct and coordinate technical aspects through project life cycles to ensure optimum performance according to Line of Mine, business requirements, organizational objectives, and sound engineering practice.

Contract position – 12 months
Location – Lephalale

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create and manage professional networks
Participate in engineering forums, tertiary educational relationships, professional external forums, relevant Communities of Practice (CoP's) and in any innovation processes
Manage cost recovery
Design for efficiency
Manage own expenditure
Maintain and ensure a healthy environment, safe operations, and practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable Safety Health Environment and Community (SHEC) policies and procedures in line with set standards
Ensure compliance to Safety, Health and Environmental legislation during execution of duties
Ensure design for safety

Qualifications:

BEng Mechanical Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
Government Certificate of Competence (Recommended/ Desirable)
Managing Development Programme (Recommended/ Desirable)

Experience:
6-8 years’ experience
