POSITION INFO:
Experience:
- 3-4 Years as GCC/ Appointed Resident or Subordinate Engineer (2.13.1 or 2.13.3.1)
- 5 Years in Mining Maintenance environment at Middle Management
- Leadership and management qualities
- Knowledge and competency in Legal compliance as per MHSACT
HEADLINE KEY RESULT AREAS:
 Minimise risk related to health and safety within the mine
 Ensure that all contractors are properly trained and inducted on the mining’s procedures
 Compile detail reports on the condition of equipment indicating outcomes of inspection work.
 Ensure availability of documented investigations/analysis, the completed design and quality of recommendations have a value—add impact.
 Identify Hazards, assess risk and put plans to manage identified risks.
 Ensure health and safety in all the plant buildings, offices, workshops in the Department
 Ensure compliance to SHEQ and Maintain safety standards
 Manage and control maintenance processes within the department
 Ensure compliance to health and safety requirements as defined in MHSA and GCC appointment
 Compile and managed budgets
 Manage projects and performed administration
 Design and implement maintenance policies and procedures
 Ensure appropriate staffing requirements
 Developed and performance managed staff
Qualification:
- B Degree Engineering/Equivalent
- Certified Engineer (GCC Mines & Works)
- Management Certificate or Diploma
