JOB SUMMARY:
Senior Medical Doctor needed for an amazing 2-year contract opportunity internationally.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As Senior Medical Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of medical care together with excellent customer service to the health facility. Will support the CMO to ensure that the hospital''''s 24-hour medical service is running smoothly and efficiently. Work closely with other multidisciplinary clinicians to provide comprehensive health care services for patients and their families. This position is ideal for a Doctor currently working in the Public Health space, with hands-on experience and up do date training.

Requirements:

Competed Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent
ACLS and ATLS training is essential
Experience in HIV/TB and Malaria is a plus
Available to work outside of RSA borders

Duties:

Ensure that the hospital/clinic facilities, medical equipment and patient services are maintained to an operational standard
Deliver high medical care
Ensure proper procedures are followed during medical emergencies, out of country transfers and referrals
All administrative reports
Attend clinic/hospital and clinical governance meetings to discuss issues relating improvements to medical service department and patient care
Perform clinical supervision of medical staff
Promote culture committed to learning from complaints, incidents, audit, research and developments
All medical services - good medical practice
Efficiently manage time between clinic hours and administrative duties
Assist with appropriate medical evacuation or referral services
Assist with all medical ER duties
