POSITION INFO:
Our client is a wellâestablished and reputable organisation within the financial services sector, offering longâterm stability and growth. They are seeking an experienced Specialist Developer to join their inâhouse software development team based in Edenvale.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable applications while working closely with technical and business stakeholders. This role suits a handsâon Senior Developer who enjoys solving complex problems and owning solutions endâtoâend.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#.NET / VB.NET
Write and optimise SQL (MS SQL) queries, stored procedures, and reports
Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Maintain and enhance existing systems, improving performance and reliability
Develop and integrate web services and REST APIs
Collaborate with internal teams and thirdâparty software providers
Troubleshoot, test, deploy, and document software solutions
Provide application support to business users as required

Education:

Degree or Diploma in a relevant IT field (minimum requirement)

Experience:

Minimum 8+ years’ experience in .NET development
Strong experience with C#.NET / .Net Core / .NET Framework
Minimum 8+ years’ SQL (MSSQL) development experience
Experience working with complex, enterpriseâlevel systems
Financial services experience advantageous

Skills:

C#.NET and VB.NET
MS SQL Server (stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning)
REST APIs and web services
Exposure to jQuery, Java, or PHP advantageous
