Senior Network Engineer (CCIE)

SUMMARY:
A leading Cash Solutions company is looking for a Senior Network Engineer reporting to Head of Network Engineering (UK, Europe & Africa) responsible for planning, design and implementation of Network Solutions. This includes 3rd Level support and Management, root cause analysis, interface with various vendors and making recommendations on global best practices.

POSITION INFO:

Description:

This position is responsible for handling/managing the network and ensuring that all network connection, engineering, security, infrastructure and devices are properly managed.

The suitable candidate must be a solution driven individual, pay careful attention to protective and preventative network measures relevant inclusive of diagnostics, equipment installations, deployment and implementation.

 Education and key Certifications:

• BSc IT degree/equivalent
• CCNP & CCNA (non-negotiable)
• CCIE ( Advantageous)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Routing and Switching ( lab test completed)

 Experience Required:

• Minimum of 7+years’ experience in a Networking and Security role
• At least 3 years’ experience in a Senior role (Tier 3 +)
• Experience managing Junior and Intermediate support personnel (Tier 2 an 3+)
• Solid experience with Cisco and HP Products
• Solid experience in Switching and Routing in Large enterprises and experience managing intermediate Engineers
• LAN AND WAN infrastructure deployment experience is non-negotiable
• Must have experience training and skills transferring to Juniors and Intermediate Engineers
• Experience working for a large organisation/ in a consulting environment offering Network Engineering
• Experience in running and handling multiple projects/deployments in Network Management
• Key Experience in resolving escalated Troubleshooting issues identified and managing corrective maintenance
• Experience in running and managing QA on Network Designs and Installations
