Our client is seeking a Senior Network Specialist, who will play a crucial role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and data flow across the organization, to join their team. This position will suit a dedicated professional with a passion for leadership and mental health care.

Job Location: Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network systems including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and security.
• Configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and
• Ensure network security by implementing and updating security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and maintenance
• Provide technical support and training to staff on network-related issues and best practices.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to manage network services and resolve issues.
• Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the network infrastructure.
• Managing Mosyle MDM platforms
• Managing Ivanti MDM platforms

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network administration, design, and support.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Experience with network security practices and technologies.
• Experience with cloud networking and services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of VoIP and telecommunication
• Project management experience in network-related projects.
• Experience with Ivanti MDM platforms
• Experience with Mosyle MDM platforms
