Innovative online education solutions entity seeks and experience Operations Manager with previous experience within the education sector
 
Responsibilities:
Management of the teaching and learning division including Head of Divisions, lecturers, teachers, tutors and support staff
Ensure the division operates within budget and optimise costs and profitability
Assist with forecasting for the division
Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Communicating information and changes to relevant stakeholders  
Institutional planning with regards to teaching and learning activities
Ensure curriculum delivery is efficient and upholds relevant standards as set by the Director of Education and Innovation
Ensure that operations remain within regulatory and legal requirements set by relevant authorities in conjunction with the CEO and Head of Legal
Formulate strategic and operational objectives for the Teaching and Learning Division
Managing workload and manpower to ensure targets and quality standards are met
Managing the Student Administration and Education Support processes
Ensuring smooth inter-departmental communication, collaboration and synergy between the Marketing, Sales and Client Care Department, Professional Services, Teaching and Learning and Learning Management Systems and Development Department
Manage quality controls alongside the Head of Academic Quality Assurance and monitor KPIs
Ensure efficient recruitment and training of staff
Optimise customer satisfaction
 
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience within a strategic operations role specific to Education
BCom degree or equivalent coupled with a Post Graduate qualification specialising in Education/ Pedagogy
Knowledge of Lean Start-up Methodology
An Entrepreneurial and Growth-mind set
Experience in managing teams
Strong client relations management
Experience working with founding directors
Proven track record in design thinking, project management and implementation
