SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building robust, scalable systems and experience in modern PHP development and infrastructure management. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale systems within a highly skilled and collaborative team.

Required Technical Expertise

Essential:

Languages & Frameworks: PHP, JavaScript (Ajax, jQuery), Laravel, Vue.js
Databases: MySQL
API Standards: GraphQL, REST, SOAP
Development Tools: Git, Composer, Node.js
Testing: PHPUnit, Codeception
Infrastructure & DevOps: Linux, Docker, Bash, Nginx, Redis, Memcached

Bonus / Advantageous:

GitLab pipelines
CI/CD automation strategies

Required Experience

5+ years of PHP development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Demonstrated experience with Laravel-based applications in a production environment.
Proven ability to lead projects, review code, and contribute to system design decisions.
Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and infrastructure scaling.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of debt collection software features, including architecture, development, deployment, and testing.
Build and maintain scalable API integrations with third-party legal systems, banks, and service providers.
Contribute to the architectural evolution of the platform, focusing on performance, security, and maintainability.
Mentor intermediate and junior developers, and contribute to internal documentation and coding standards.
Collaborate with business units (Finance, Legal Support, and Client Services) to implement technical solutions that meet operational needs.
Oversee deployment pipelines and environments using Docker, CI/CD, and Linux-based infrastructure.
Develop and enhance automated tests (unit, integration, functional) to ensure long-term system stability.
