POSITION INFO:

An innovative, multinational company is seeking the assistance of a Payroll Administrator

This company has been in working for more than a century, and was founded in the USA, but now has a firm in every province within South Africa. This company specializes in an assortment of services ranging from advisory to financials solutions.

As Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for day-to-day payroll transactions, processing the payroll accounting system and for preparing payroll account reconciliations.

Duties will include:

• Provide a cost-effective payroll administration service compliant with corporate governance and statutory requirements.
• Provide an effective and efficient salary processing administrative function.
• Assist with payroll queries and resolution. 
• Process monthly salaries and salary related transactions
• Processing payable hours, overtime, commissions, bonuses, tax, PAYE, UIF, EMP 201, 501, Skills Levies etc
• CTC statements for HR divisions on request for new employees
• Payroll Reconciliation
• Continuously review systems and processes to improve efficiency and cost savings
• Introduce new ideas or improvements to streamline the payroll system
• Staying informed and keeping abreast of company policies, tax legislation and system changes that impact on remuneration and payroll functions
• Provide an effective and efficient time and attendance administrative service.
• Submission of reports 

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Education

• B. Com qualification.
• Aticles completed.

Experience:

• 5-10\
•  years post article experience.

Specifications

• ERP systems (SAP/Syspro/JDE/Oracle)
• Accounting software (Pastel/Accpac/Sage)
• VIP Payroll or Payspace preferred
