Top Automotive Industry client is seeking a Senior Plant Controller to join their team.

Experience:

• Extensive experience in FP&A and Accounting at manufacturing businesses.
• Excellent analytical/quantitative skills and detail oriented.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex analysis into concise executive reports.
• Self-reliant, proactive, work with minimum supervision, and a “can do” mentality.
• Aptitude for identifying issues and creative problem solving.
• Proven business acumen skills, and management level strategic planning experience.
• Ability to assess operational controls, identify deficiencies, and influence and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in FP&A or finance managerial position, with accounting responsibility.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in finance at an Automotive/ Manufacturing business.
• Preference for cost accounting experience (establishing setting labor and overhead rates, manufacturing absorption, manufacturing variances, inventory valuation).
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel, and experience with SAP (or Oracle).

• Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015), as applicable.
