Our client, a chemical manufacturing company based in Edenvale, is seeking an experienced Senior Polymer Chemist to join their team. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in polymer chemistry, polyurethane formulations, and product development.

POSITION INFO:
What you'll be doing Develop and optimise polyurethane formulations Lead R&D projects from concept to commercialisation Provide technical support to customers and internal teams Troubleshoot product and application challenges Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives Support product launches and customer implementation Mentor and develop technical team members What you'll need BSc in Chemistry or Polymer Science Postgraduate qualification (MSc\/PhD) advantageous Minimum 5 years' experience in polymer science or polyurethane R&D Strong background in formulation and product development Experience with rigid foams, CASE or related applications advantageous Proven ability to manage technical projects Strong understanding of polyurethane chemistry Analytical and problem-solving skills Customer-focused with strong communication abilities Ability to manage multiple projects Commercial awareness and solution-driven mindset What is in it for you Permanent position Competitive market related remuneration Potential for growth A few things to know Commitment to Safety, Customer Service, Integrity, and Innovation is at the heart of our success.
