Senior Pricing Analyst - Food Manufacturing Industry

SUMMARY:
Senior Pricing Analyst urgently required for our client, a well-established multi-national food production company based in Johannesburg South. You will be a member of the Finance team, and have global exposure.

POSITION INFO:

Main responsibilities:

Perform daily pricing activities and provide pricing recommendations to ensure global pricing consistency

Computing standard pricing of products

Maintain price lists, providing target costs and price monitoring processes

Provide pricing recommendations for briefs to Sales groups with supporting analysis, coordinate pricing process for identified main accounts and provide price negotiations support

Manage DOA process

Participate in customer meetings and discussions for 2nd tier customers

Determine action recommendations to avoid gross margin erosion

Analyse gross margin and identify product cost issues and address these with Procurement, Operations, Finance & Technical groups

Manage annual price increases and adjustments for raw material impact, manufacture cost changes or margin improvement on existing products

Support Customer service excellence on pricing/order issues

Guarantee Compliance with the Pricing Policies

Support definition, documentation, implementation and maintenance of pricing related guidelines and principles

Ensure Data maintenance and quality in all Pricing processes

Contribute to development of pricing strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Team

Lead local and participate in the regional /global projects and process improvement projects (with strategic impact on the region / country)

Minimum requirements:

Experience 4+ years of combined experience in BTB pricing, finance or similar, additional experience in sales, technical or related functions, in the Food/Beverage/Chemical manufacturing industry

Customer interaction experience

Experience in cross-cultural / international environment, overseas experience will be an advantage

Market knowledge (customers, segments, market practices)

Master all relevant pricing mechanisms

Experience dealing with complex IT systems

Proficient in the applications of the MS-Office world

SAP experience (SD, CO, FI)

SAP-BI, Tableau experience

Bachelors degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, Management or similar

Salary is R750 000 –----- CTC per annum, negotiable on experience. Standard large company benefits apply.
