We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Cape Town.

This is an initial 12-month hybrid contract - onsite 3 times a week.

The Senior Process Engineer’s role is to work with business and projects to identify areas where business processes and performance can be developed or improved. The aim is to apply business process principals in the analysis of As Is business operations and the creation of the To Be business operating models and business process artefacts.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in the following: Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, Information Technology is essential

Essential Certifications:

CBPP, Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt or Black Belt, and BPMN / UML.
Added advantage – TOGAF, EA Sparx, FTI, Post grad diploma
Agile Certification

Preferred Qualification:

Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA)
Business Analysis Certification (FTI)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
OMG Certified Expert in Business Process Modelling (OCEB 2)
Business Process Management Certificate
Presentation Course

Preferred Qualification (Advantage):

Value Chain Analysis
Value Stream Mapping
Business Architecture Certification
Toastmasters
Software Development qualification

Minimum Experience Level:

5 Years + experience as a Process Engineering working in an Agile environment Modelling- BPMN/EPC/UML

Business Architecture
EA Sparx

Technical / Professional Knowledge:

Industry knowledge required – Insurance
Product knowledge required– Savings and Income, Investments
Systems preferred – Bancs and Bizagi
Principles of project management
Relevant Insurance regulatory knowledge
Facilitation techniques

Insurance related Policies, Procedures and system Knowledge
Modelling-EPC/BPMN/UML
