SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available with a leading international chemical manufacturing company is seeking to appoint a multi-skilled Procurement and Sourcing Specialist to be based in Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Experience:

5 -8 years’ experience as a Procurement Specialist/Procurement Officer with exposure to direct and indirect sourcing of chemicals, raw materials and/or packaging material.
Oversee all relevant tender management on behalf of internal stakeholders.
Implement sourcing strategies and category plans to ensure all procurement and production targets are met.
Handle all negotiations based on market analysis, price analysis and Incoterms.
Responsible for all contract management and risk management.
Experience dealing with spend amounts of R600 million and above annually.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Relevant degree in Procurement/Logistics/Purchasing
CIPS qualification will be an added advantage
