Senior Procurement Officer

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available with a leading international chemical manufacturing company is seeking to appoint a multi-skilled Procurement and Sourcing Specialist to be based in Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Experience:

• 5 -8 years’ experience as a Procurement Specialist/Procurement Officer with exposure to direct and indirect sourcing of chemicals, raw materials and/or packaging material.
• Oversee all relevant tender management on behalf of internal stakeholders.
• Implement sourcing strategies and category plans to ensure all procurement and production targets are met.
• Handle all negotiations based on market analysis, price analysis and Incoterms.
• Responsible for all contract management and risk management.
• Experience dealing with spend amounts of R600 million and above annually.

 Qualifications & Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Procurement/Logistics/Purchasing
• CIPS qualification will be an added advantage
