   Your core role as a senior product manager will be two-fold:

   1. To set the long-term vision and strategy for your companyâ??s products and to communicate this strategy to all of the relevant participants and stakeholders.
   2. Own and Manage the end to end product life cycle management and processes related to your product portfolio and ensure the various stakeholders within the product life cycle are aware and trained on the various aspects of the relevant products(s).
   • Manage from concept, to design, sample production, testing, forecast, cost, production, promotion, support, and finally product end of life
   • Delivers the operating plan: the achievement of growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit, and return on investment for all the channels/categories of business and/or key customers.
   • Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through research, strategic planning, and implementation
   • Identify and maximise market opportunities for the Voice Product Portfolio within each market segment (business channel), ensuring decisions are taken with a full understanding of impact on business performance
   • Develop product pricing strategy which is well researched, clear and communicated to customers and internal stakeholders
   • Identify opportunities to generate increased sales volume via focused sales and marketing activity
   • Monitor product performance on a monthly basis taking corrective action (e.g. pricing review, promotional program, analysis of sales) where necessary
   • Work with service provisioning, engineering and support teams to ensure that current and planned products are achievable and delivered to market according to the agreed specification Identify new business opportunities within the market segment (range extension, new product/service offerings, new channels to market, third party alliances, etc.) and develop costed Business Proposals for these opportunities
   • Develop close working relationship with internal stakeholders including; Sales, Partner Program, Technical Support and Marketing
   • Participate in product review meetings for a given product set ensuring key stakeholders are involved where appropriate
   • Develop, grow and manage data related products by identifying potential complimentary capabilities and technologies; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining business rules; ensuring profitable margins; competitive pricing and relevant processes for product to work effectively within the organisation.
   • Provides strategic direction from a technical perspective by working with relevant parties.

   Work closely with:

   • The Sales organisation to align products and solutions to Customer requirements
   • The Solution Architect team to ensure knowledge share and training is facilitated
   • The Project Office and Implementations teams for implementation correctness;
   • The Finance Department for billing integrity and
   • Operations for effective Customer service and support.
   • Strategic decision making, business cases, feasibility studies and anything required to ensure the business stays profitable and in the front end of the market
   • Maximize profitability of the Data Business
   • Negotiate pricing and rates with providers
   • Assist sales and solution architects where required to ensure growth
   • Assist with client relations where required
   • SLA understanding, and ensuring relevance to customers
   • Ensure contracts and Service Definitions are relevant and up to date
   • Continuous improvements to ensure effectiveness
   Skills and Experience:

   Qualification Essential Competency:

   • Bcom undergraduate and or equivalent.

   Qualification preferred education:

   • Undergraduate business and or engineering qualifications

   Experience required:

   • Minimum 4 years Product / Technical experience within the IT Sector.

   • Significant proven product management experience gained within the hybrid networking technology arena.
   • An understanding of Internet Technologies
   • Knowledge of Data Products essential including of some of the following:
   • MPLS and SDWAN Technologies
   • Last Mile carrier technologies
   • WiFi technologies
   • Experienced in managing supplier relationships
