POSITION INFO:
A well-established organisation is seeking a Senior Programmer to join its technology team. This role is responsible for the development, enhancement, implementation, and maintenance of complex software solutions and business applications that support critical business operations. Working alongside experienced developers and project leaders, the successful candidate will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and development through to testing, implementation, and user support. This position offers exposure to large-scale systems and the opportunity to work on projects that have a direct impact on business performance. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who enjoys developing quality software, collaborating with technical teams, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain complex software solutions and business applications. Design and create graphical interfaces for business systems. Develop web-based applications and system functionality. Build and maintain solutions using PHP and the Laravel framework. Conduct thorough system testing and quality assurance activities. Deploy applications and support successful system implementations. Provide training and support to end users. Ensure software stability, reliability, and performance. Job Experience and Skills Required Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field will be advantageous. Software Engineering qualification will be beneficial. Minimum 3 years of software development experience. Experience developing and maintaining business applications. Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
