Senior Project Engineer Location: Cape Town or Johannesburg, South Africa Position: Senior Project Engineer Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our vibrant and energetic team. In this role, you will lead the design of high-end commercial and industrial solar systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while following best engineering practices. This role includes designing renewable energy systems, cost projections, system production estimates, and ensuring robust system operation. We pride ourselves on staying at the forefront of innovative customized solutions in the market. Therefore, in this role, you will need to stay abreast of industry developments and bring innovation and expertise to the fore. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design of high-end commercial and industrial solar systems. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Design renewable energy systems, including cost projections and system production estimates. Ensure robust operation of systems. Stay updated with industry developments and bring innovation to the team. Manage a team and provide guidance to junior staff. Qualifications: Minimum qualification of PR Eng in Electrical Engineering. Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist. Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Expertise in designing renewable energy systems. Proficiency in cost projections and system production estimates.
