POSITION INFO:

We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic delivery of finance systems initiatives within a regulated financial services environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive impactful change in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Please note this role is a hybrid role based in Cape Town for an initial 6 month contract, with possibility to extend subject to performance.

What you’ll do:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of finance technology and operating model transformation projects
• Manage stakeholder engagement across finance, IT, and executive leadership
• Drive project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and reporting
• Ensure alignment with regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration of systems

Your expertise:

• 10+ years’ project management experience in financial services
• Proven success delivering technology implementations, especially finance-related systems
• Hands-on experience with finance platforms (e.g. ERP, general ledger, reporting tools)
• Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting requirements
• Skilled in managing projects using Agile, hybrid, and traditional methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently and engage senior stakeholders
• Structured, proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments
