SUMMARY:
Our client in the Bulk Materials Handling equipment industry is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join them in Randburg, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be able to manage all aspects of projects execution and manage a team of project engineers, administrators and site teams. At least 10 years’ experience is required. Bulk Materials Handling industry experience will probe advantage

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Bulk Materials Handling / Mechanical)
Geographical area: Randburg, Gauteng
Salary range: R 62 000.00 – R 72 000.00 CTC pm

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Managing of Project team which includes project engineers, project managers, projects admin, site team.
Plan and direct the department activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture, ethics and legislative adherence.
Maintain departmental culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory bodies.
Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within specifications and allocated budget.
Chairing of weekly projects progress meetings.
Overall Management of assigned projects which includes the planning and programming, project duration management and relationship with all stake holders.
Ensuring that all engineering and manufacturing processes are in keeping with the health and safety regulations of the state and the country.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Diploma in Engineering, commercial or equivalent
At least 10 years experience in general management / project management
Understanding of materials handling systems will be advantageous
